Science students in Science Faculty. Waiting for the next
lecture? Want to find a cool and comfortable place to chill?

<space> is a cozy room located
just beside LT25 facing Spinelli at the Frontier. <space> is
open during term time for you to relax and play board games with
friends. You can also book <space> for meetings and gatherings.
It is the student activity
area for all Science students.
Other than opening as a student activity area during school
hours, events such as talks, sharing sessions, enrichment
workshops and mini-performances will also be held in <space>.
If you are interested in sharing your experiences and interests
with others or showcase your talents in <space>, you can just
tell us and we will help you organize and publicize it.

Our Board Games
Cranium is
the original outrageous award-winning board game, the ideal game
for everyone. Whether you are an aspiring actor, potential
artist, or budding wordsmith, Cranium gives everyone a chance to
shine - sketch, sculpt, solve puzzles, act, hum and answer
questions.
Cranium has elements similar to those of Pictionary, Charades,
Trivial Pursuit, Celebrities, Huggermugger, Claymania.

Before you book <space>...
If you are thinking of booking <space>, we would like you to
read the following
General Rules and Regulations
1. No
eating and drinking (except water) is allowed in <space>.
2. No
vandalism in <space>.
3. No
footwear is allowed inside <space>.
4. No
sleeping in <space>.
5. <space>
to be kept clean and tidy at all times.
6. All
furniture to be moved back to original place after use.
Booking Policy
(a) Private Discussions (e.g.
group meetings and gatherings)
Booking hours:
Mon, Tues, Thurs: 1000 hours – 1200 hours, 1800 hours – 2100
hours
Wed: 1000 hours – 2100 hours
Fri: 1000 hours – 1200 hours, 1600 hours – 2100 hours
1. <space> is
not opened for booking during its opening hours and on weekends
and public holidays.
2. Booking must
be done via email to
sci_space@yahoo.com. A confirmatory email will be sent to
applicant to confirm his/her booking.
3. Booking must
be done at least 3 days in advance.
4. Cancellation
of booking must be done at least 1 day in advance.
5. No amendment
of booking is allowed. In the event the applicant wishes to
change the date and the time of booking, he will have to cancel
his/her booking and apply for another booking.
6. On the day
of booking, applicants have to produce a copy of the
confirmatory email as a proof of booking
7. Applicants
will have to check an inventory list and sign an undertaking
form before entering <space>.
8. Only upon
passing us the completed undertaking form will applicants be
able to enter <space>; the key to the room will be kept by the
<space> personnel during the duration of usage.
9. In the event
the applicant wishes to vacate the room during the duration of
booking, he/she will have to inform the <space> personnel to
lock the room.
10. Applicants
have to wait for a <space> personnel to check the room for any
missing/damaged items before leaving the room.
11. A $50
penalty is applicable for any item lost or damaged.
12. Applicants
should arrive 5 minutes before booking time and vacate the room
on time.
13. Reserving a
particular time slot every week is not allowed.
14. <space>
Committee is not liable for any loss of personal property in
<space>.
15. Bookings
are subject to availability.
(b) Public Events (involving
invitation of people from NUS population or the public)
Booking hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1000 hours – 1200 hours, 1800 hours –
2100 hours
Wednesday: 1000 hours – 2100 hours
Friday: 1000 hours – 1200 hours, 1600 hours – 2100 hours
1. <space>
is not opened for booking during its opening hours and on

on Saturdays are negotiable.
3. Booking
must be done via email to
sci_space@yahoo.com.
