Splash our campus with live, vibrancy and colours through fun and
games. We
organise events such like night rider, games day and SWEAT! camp. It's
never
ending fun. :)
Want to make a difference? Join the sports committee and show everyone
else how
fun school can be with a bunch of fun-loving people like us!
So, come on! There's no pun, let's have some fun! (:
Welfare
Always wanted to warm the
hearts of others?
That's what we do for the Faculty of Science!
The Welfare Committee is here to improve the welfare of the students,
including
you! Some of the services we came up with in the past: Second hand
books sale,
Locker rental, Exam tea and the annual Welfare Survey for us to know
you
better!
We conduct two Second hand
books sale per year and allow students to benefit from the cheaper
textbooks as
well as from the profits from the sale of books! For Locker rental, we
offer
the service of renting lockers to students to lighten their bags and
come to
school comfortably! Before exam starts, we provide some snacks and
freebies
with an Exam tea to encourage you to study!
We are constantly looking out
for new ways to improve the welfare of the students, so do let us know
if you
have any creative ideas! We also welcome anyone, who has a heart to
serve, to
be part of our committee! :D

Science Volunteer Corp
The Science Volunteer Corp
(SVC) of the NUS Students’ Science Club was created with the main
purpose of
initiating and promoting the spirit of volunteerism and social
awareness of
community service among the science population. An annual event
organised by
SVC is ALIVE! – Appreciating lives, initiating volunteerism everyday!
It
represents the ideal and wish of SVX to help create a more caring
society and
make volunteerism a way of life. This event acts as a platform for
science
students to reach out to the less fortunate in the community. Besides
that,
we’ll be undertaking a few other small projects such as a visit to the
Old
Folks’, a trip to the animal sanctuary and some other volunteering
trips.

. All you need is a BIG heart, and the willingness to lend a HELPING
hand.

Video and Photography
The video and photographic
(VAP) committee of Science Club covers events, such as the
Inter-faculty games
(IFG), Games Day, Rag and Flag day, Freshmen Orientation Projects, as
well as
the other major science club events.VAP is also in charge of archiving
the
photos and videos which serves as snippets of life in the faculty.VAP
work
closely with publicity and publication to form the ACT ( Artistic
Creative
Team), which is to encourage the development of creativity through
various
activities ( such as designing and photography competition).It is
certainly a
committee which you will want to be a part of if you have strong
interest in
video & photography. It is also a good place to meet fellow
enthusiast to
share ideas and tips for improving. We are currently recruiting members
to be
part of the VAP family and if you have interest and will like to learn
more
about VAP, we welcome you.
