28th Science Club Management Committee

Space Director

Marc was born with a naturally big head. This is probably why the powers-that-be decided to put him in charge of <space>; the space helmet was the only hat amongst the lot that he could wear without looking stupid.

Seriously, Marc is a year 3 Life Science major who’s also pursuing a minor in Business Management and has a vested interest in Philosophy and Political Science (the buggers-that-be wouldn’t let him minor in those, probably in the interests of national security or something).

Marc took up the mantle of <space> directorship because he believes very strongly about holistic education; he feels that the facts and knowledge dispensed in the hallowed LTs of Science Fac aren’t sufficient to ensure success in the working world. He plans to use <space> as an avenue to teach ‘soft’ and ‘people’ skills like interview techniques, personal grooming and financial literacy through organized seminars. He’s also half-tempted to teach people how to build “lasers” on the moon, but is terrified of having an international man of mystery come after him.

Marc’s also a professional slacker and <space> is without a doubt the best place to slack in Science Fac. With board-games, bean bags, cushions and its own audio system, the only things that would make <space> even better for slacking in would be a widescreen TV, an unlimited supply of cold beer and a bevy of masseuses. Donations accepted! Make Marc’s dream come true today!Or... you could just drop by <space> to study, chat, game or just chill. That’ll do just fine =)
